Mesel\u00e2 tarih\u00ee devlet koridorumuzda kap\u0131kullar\u0131na \u2018bah\u015fi\u015f\u2019 olarak tahsis edilen ul\u00fbfe ve arpal\u0131klar\u0131n dayan\u0131lmaz cazibesi bu t\u00fcrden bir ihtirasla insano\u011fluna \u201cvar olmak i\u00e7in yok et\u201d \u015fehvetiyle meydan muharebesi verdiriyor<\/p>\n<p>Ul\u00fbfe ve arpal\u0131klar\u0131n tevcihinde esas olan sistemde, Kap\u0131kulu; Devlet-i \u00c2liyye\u2019de do\u011frudan padi\u015faha ba\u011fl\u0131, yaya, atl\u0131 ve teknik s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131 olu\u015fturan askerlerden olu\u015fan ocaklara verilen isim olup, vazifeleri kat\u0131 ve tavizsiz kaidelere ba\u011flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Zaman\u0131n ihtiyac\u0131 olarak \u201cDev\u015firme\u201d usul\u00fcyle Kap\u0131kulu olarak nasbedildikleri i\u00e7in aileleri ve dinleriyle ba\u011flar\u0131n\u0131 koparmas\u0131, h\u00fck\u00fcmdardan ba\u015fka kimseye madd\u00ee veya hiss\u00ee bir ba\u011f duymamas\u0131 gerekiyordu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUl\u00fbfe\u201d; Arap\u00e7a \u201calef\u201din T\u00fcrk\u00e7e kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 olan \u201cyulaf\u201dtan halk a\u011fz\u0131nda t\u00fcretilmi\u015f olup Osmanl\u0131ca\u2019da \u201cyem paras\u0131\u201d demektir. Tarih\u00ee kay\u0131tlara g\u00f6re sadece Amasya M\u00fcft\u00eesi vaktin de\u011ferli ulemas\u0131ndan Seyyid \u0130brahim Efendi \u201c\u2026ben riyazet-ke\u015f de\u011filim ki, arpa ekme\u011fi yiyem ve mescidden ayr\u0131 yere varmam ki, merkep besliyem, arpa bize laz\u0131m olmaz\u201d diyerek Kanun\u00ee devri Sadrazamlar\u0131ndan \u0130brahim Pa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n tevcih etti\u011fi arpal\u0131\u011f\u0131 reddetmi\u015ftir.
